Summer 2021 Update and New Book Announcement

Dear Friends,

In times like these, you need a Savior
In times like these, you need an anchor;
Be very sure, be very sure
Your anchor holds and grips the Solid Rock!
This Rock is Jesus, Yes, He’s the One;
This Rock is Jesus, the only One!

This hymn was composed in 1943 during the fearful days of World War II when despair was everywhere.

It seemed to many during that time that the Allies were bogged down in Italy and other countries, and the war was going nowhere. The world economies were at breaking points with people everywhere having to live on rations. It is out of this discouraging atmosphere that a homemaker and pastor’s wife, Ruth Caye Jones, was drawn to 2 Timothy 3. She took a notepad and pen out of her apron pocket, and wrote the words and composed the music for this song that has blessed so many down through the years.

We are again visibly at war against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Eph. 6:12).

In times like these, our mission at Huguenot Heritage remains clear and is more important than ever. The church in much of the French-speaking world has no depth of biblical teaching, and instead is full of syncretism and heresies. The hope that is the anchor of our soul is found in the living Word and the written Word. The biblical education courses that we are producing are helping the church of the French-speaking world to lay hold of and to put its anchor deep in the hope that is set before us. (Heb. 6:12)

We are making progress! We thank God for the new sound booth that has been a tremendous help to speed up our work.

Display of our current course progress from the booth at a recent conference.

As always, the financial needs to cover the cost of the courses and our personal support are great and ongoing. As you see in the picture, each course costs us approximately $50,000 to produce, all the way from manuscript translation to video production.

THANK YOU so much for the one-time and monthly support gifts that many of you send. As each one comes in, we are moved by your love for the Gospel and for us, and we raise our hearts to the Lord with thanksgiving for your generosity.

For anyone who would like to join in supporting us and this ministry, your tax deductible checks can be made out to Huguenot Heritage, and sent to

Francis has just finished a much-needed book in French:
Laïcusvirus—La famille chrétienne face au défi de la « nouvelle norme. »
(The virus of Secularism—The Christian Family and the Challenge of the “New Norm”).

This timely book sheds light on how secularism has affected French Christian families over the past thirty years. It sounds a warning against “the new norm,” invites French-speaking Christians to read the times, and to return with courage and steadfastness to God’s original blueprint for how to build a Christian home.

One with you in our Lord Jesus Christ,

Francis and Donna Foucachon
