Silent Auction
There will be one silent auction item: a lamb roast for 25 people in Francis Foucachon’s backyard, on a date decided on by the winner. Chef Foucachon will roast the lamb and cook the rest of the meal and serve it with French wines. The lamb was raised and donated by Jeremy Bunch.
The Cause
The mission of Huguenot Heritage is to bring a biblical education to the French-speaking world, for free. Over the past 12 years, we have produced 20 video courses in French as part of our partnership with Third Millennium Ministries, which form the core of a seminary education. This milestone has recently resulted in extraordinary opportunities in African countries hungry for solid biblical teaching. The fundraiser will feature a short presentation about our partnerships with the Presbyterian Church of Cameroon, a denomination of over 5 million members who recently voted to return to orthodoxy, and have started to use our courses to train their leaders. And also an update about our next course (a major one on biblical ethics featuring John Frame, which will cost more to produce than the usual average of $50,000).
