Effective Church Planters | On Missions

The most effective church-planters on the mission field are nationals. They know the language of their country and speak it without an accent; they understand the culture with all its layers; they have studied the history of their nation and are a part of it; and, unlike most missionaries, they are there for the long haul.

However, there are no hard and fast rules. I’m forever indebted to an American missionary couple, Ken and Lois Beach, who gave years of their lives to church-planting in France and helped me to know Christ.
